Networked for life: Nuclear receptors in age-related diseases

14.05.2026

We have designed an innovative program featuring major advances across the NR field. The program opens with a focus on women's health and hormone regulation. This will be followed by a session examining the role of NRs in tissue metabolic adaptations, highlighting NRs as molecular switches in metabolic regulation and disease with an emphasis on physiological balance. The third session will present recent advances in immunomodulation and inflammation, reflecting the expanding understanding of NRs in immune responses. As the conference progresses, it will address new insights into hormone-regulated networks and their impact on age-related diseases, including cancer and cardiometabolic diseases. The final day will explore emerging findings on orphan and adopted NRs in tissue-specific metabolic adaptations, followed by a session bridging fundamental science with novel therapeutic strategies. The conference will culminate in a forward-looking round table on the future directions of the field.
